Making authentic craftsman furniture is not for the faint-hearted. This is definitely not for novice woodworkers, because there are no detailed instructions or assembly sequences. It will help if you are one of those who can build almost anything without detailed plans. The emphasis is on exposed joinery, and if you have the experience you will have no problems meeting these challenging projects.
There are smaller projects like 3-legged stools and hanging bookshelves as well as more involved projects such as cabinets and bedsteads.
Once again, this book does not provide step by step instructions. What you will get is some fairly good illustrations of authentic Stickley furniture and a pretty good materials list. You will have to be a capable woodworker, and the effort is well worth it. You will be able to create family heirlooms that future generations will be proud of.
